Thruthadigs is a music blog I started in 2026, based in Montreal, Quebec. I was born in Calgary, Alberta, and the idea came from spending a lot of time in record stores and noticing how much great music gets overlooked, sitting quietly in the bins.
The idea is to go out, dig, find something worth sharing, give it some attention, and take the time to really listen, look into the background, and add some context. Everything here comes from that process of flipping through records, following leads, and trusting my gut a bit. Hopefully, you come across something that excites you as much as it did me.
Most of what I write will lean toward reggae, jazz, free jazz, soul, and funk, but I'm open-minded to anything that comes my way.
